We have participated in the European Commission's Auto Oil Programme as advisors to DG XI on refining economics and the cost to the industry of the proposed environmental legislation.

Our model has been used to provide the refining sector for the UK Energy Model, subsequently the DTI purchased our model.

We have undertaken studies that include the evaluation of a possible new refining process, oxygenate pricing, advice on refinery planning, various price forecasting studies and a number of refinery profitability studies.

The monthly report European Refining Activity (ERA) is a joint venture with WEFA energy, which is now taken by a wide range of clients in the oil industry.

We also undertook a major multi-client study of the Brent Crude Oil Spot Market. This work made use of the Petroleum Argus crude deals database, which we set up.

We participated in a major world bank study of Zambia's energy requirements up to the year 2006.
